I can't believe she's going to be in 1st grade! I'm glad, though. She's been ready to move onto first grade since, like 7 months ago. Kindergarten was a piece of cake for her, maybe even a bit boring for my little smarty-pants.
Elise's teacher did a great thing during the graduation ceremony. He called each child up and spoke about the child for a bit. He called Elise his "hardest sell." He said she pushed him to be a better teacher because things were so easy for her that he had to find ways to make things interesting.
Elise is an amazing reader and has always been good at math. She is a sweet friend and we are so proud of her.
